Trip to FRIM - Part 1

Last week, I went to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) with two of my course mates. We are gathering at the Kepong Sentral KTM station and then go there with my course mate's car. Moreover, one of my course mates brings another friend to join us.
When we reach the place, we start our journey into the forest. We took a track called Rover Track because my course mate recommends it. The photo above is the canopy walk in the rover track. If you want to walk on it, you have to buy the ticket at FRIM souvenir Centre before you going up.
Here are some photos I shot inside the forest. I spotted this huge bamboo trees on the way going up hill. Nice bamboo trees with greeny leaves.
And this is the root of the tree around the big rock full of lichen. The weather on that day not so perfect due to some raining on the morning. After that, it just becomes cloudy day before afternoon.

Here are my course mates and another new friend here. I shoot them while we pass by a small river. By the way, the water from the river is so cold and nice to touch it too.
This is the new friend I just met her. Her name is called Fei Yee. Nice and sporting girl I ever know. Haha~
This is my course mate in UM and her name is Fech Scen. Pretty girl with nice smile~
This is another course mate called Ti hin. Nice and good guy... Due to too much photos so I will be posting those remaining photos on the next post... hehe

To be continue~

Diana Krall is coming to town

Canadian jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall is coming to town... She will be having a concert at the Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre, KLCC on Oct 2. I am one of the fans of her and I like to listen to her songs.
Even though the ticket prices are slightly costly RM288, RM588, RM888 for general tickets and RM1288 for VIP tickets. For more information as well as the concert seating plan, visit HERE.
She really is a great singer with nice voice... I not sure I able to afford the ticket to watch her live performance at KLCC but I know for sure that is a great concert for every Jazz lover. If not mistaken, last time she came is on the year 2001 so it is already 7 years ago. So hopefully I can go there... I don't want wait another 7 years...

Due to I took KTM going there so I shot a photo of Kepong Sentral KTM station. Not much people at the station actually.

Gathering with friends

Few weeks ago, I went to a place called Paradise near my house. It is a place with nice atmosphere... But my friends and I felt kinda hot when we sitting at the corner place. Maybe It because of there is no air conditioning at the place and only few fans around the place. Their food seen like no so interesting too... I still think it is a great hang out place before going there... Haha~
This is the flower on our table. I shot it with my baby~

Maybe the place is not so important because the most important is those people who come out with us. All is my friends I know long time ago and I didn't meet some of them for a long time. I wish to spend more time to hang out with them since we can't meet them so often. They are great friends for me such as this guy...
His name is Kaiser Kiok and I know him since 4 or 5 years old. That is almost 19/20 years of friendship... He is a great friend for me which always support me and I feel comfortable to hang out with him. I can't really meet him frequently cause he only back to Kajang once a month or maybe longer. Hope he is fine at there too. Dude, must keep contact! Hihi~
There are 10 people came out that day... Quite many for me cause I don't hang out with such big groups of people every time I go out. Have to say sorry for those not in the photo cause I only take few photos at the place. Hope can go out more with you all...

Gathering...

My social life is blooming recently and I feel happy for it. I like those feelings when meeting new friends, it's seen like charging the power in my life. I quite enjoying those moments with my friends although I just met them or I already knew them long time ago. No matter it is just a dinner, tea break or a badminton match, it is just great for me.
But sometimes we really shouldn't put too much expectation in the friendship with others. For doing so, it will add extra pressure to the person or the friendship. Those person involved will feel like burden by those expectation and can't act naturally when facing you. So how it gonna to be a great gathering or dating? Should we just let it go without doing anything? I am not sure about it. I just know no one really wish to make any relationships falling apart.
In this inhospitality world, there are many kind of different people with many kind of expectations on others. So should we just reduce some of the expectations and bring more pleasantly surprise into our life? Shall we?

3 Wishes...

I have three wishes to accomplish before I start to work.

1.) Putrajaya International Convention Center
I wish to go Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) to watch the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2008. Because I want to go there take some photos of those fireworks. I went there last year and it is wonderful for me so I hope can back to there this year. Anyone want to fetch me along?

2.) Forest Research Institute Malaysia
My second wish is go to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) near Kepong there. It because I wish to go take some fresh breathes and get closer with nature. Haha~ Sounds weird, isn't it? Ya, that is what I wish for... hehe. Besides, I can take some photos there too. That's maybe the secondary reason why I wish to go there.

3.) Kuala Lumpur International Airport
I wish I can go Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to take photos of aircrafts taking off or landing down. It is a fascinating experience for me if I can achieve this wish. Why I wish to go there is maybe causing by the side effect after I watched the Japanese drama series called Good Luck! Haha~

Really hope I can go this three places before I start to work... God Bless Me!

My Lovely Course Mates

07 August is my convocation day. It is the only convocation session (my session!) which raining if compare to others sessions. Most of the peoples really piss off by the nonstop raining outside the hall while we all inside receiving our scroll. All the friends and family already get wet because standing in the rain for waiting us come out.
So actually we all don't take many pictures when we came out. Why? It because we already so wet due to the raining. Besides, those pictures taken that time also didn't come out great because the environment very moist and dark. Thus, a lot of people ask me am I regret because don't take much pictures although in such conditions?

My answer is NO! I never think that I will take many pictures with friends when we came out. But I hope I can take some with my course mates. So few days after my convocation, my course mates and I went back UM to take more pictures. Here is the group photo for those attending this "private" photo session. Haha~
(Chee Siong, Chee Yee, Fech Scen, Me, Chin Chong, Ti Hin and Yen Sian)

This is the flower + bear from my dear sister. Lovely flowers~
But my course mate's flower looks even greater than mine although it don't have the bear. It actually a combination from 4 different kinds of flowers. Here is the picture of the flower.
These are the two cute and pretty girls from our physics department. Are they pretty, right? hehe~
Here is the photo of Chee Yee. She is concentrating on her camera while I snapped her photo without her notice. I love this photo much, I think I did a great job on this photo but sure it can be improve.
More photo to come after I arrange all the photos from my convocation. To be continue...

Haze

Do you all notice the haze is return to Malaysia? Although it is not so serious but sometimes the smell still very bad. Just like those smell from the burning rubbish. And it cause the weather become very hot.
Can we hold on any longer? Why our government can just ignore the problem and without doing anything to resolve the situation? Moreover, it happens on every year almost the same period on each year. So it should be have enough time to let our politicians to think the solution, right? Maybe they just never think it before... sigh~

I think Malaysia will become un-breathable after 10 years from now. And we should wearing gas mask just to go out to shopping. haha~ must be a funny scene.

I am officially bonded...

I am officially bonded with a France company called Geoservices today. Here is the company's logo.
What company is that? Actually that company is an upstream oilfield service company which servicing those big oil companies like Shell, Petronas, Murphy and Nippon.
So I will work on offshore oil platform at middle of the ocean. I don't think there is any cell phone reception or internet too... It seen like I will be working at the isolated man made island for weeks. I still not sure I can stand this kind of environment.

But I still work in the cabin looks like the picture below. It is an air-cond environment but I still need to get outside to do sampling work and then analyze those samples in the cabin. I still not very sure how is it feel likes when I working there. Hopefully don't too badly for me. If not, I sure will jump out from the platform and swim back to Malaysia.
Need to pray more start from today... Hopefully nothing happen on me when I go to work... God bless me~

What’s Your Personality Type?

You Are An INTP
The Thinker

You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can.

Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge.

Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat.

A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.

In love, you are an easy person to fall for. But not an easy person to stay in love with.

Although you are quite flexible, you often come off as aloof or argumentative.

At work, you are both a logical and creative thinker. You are great at solving problems.

You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.

How you see yourself: Creative, fair, and tough-minded

When other people don't get you, they see you as: arrogant, cold, and robotic

I saw this test on April Cherrie's blog. So this is my test result. I think the test is quite accurate for me, how about you all? Have a nice day~

Fireworks

Do you all know there are a competition is going on now? That is Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2008 at Putrajaya International Convention Centre. Same place with last year Fireworks Competition.
But if I not mistaken, those country take part in the competition for this year is much less than last year. The Countries only including:
Malaysia - 12 August
China - 16 August
Canada - 20 August
Spain - 24 August
Australia -29 August (grand finale)
Each fireworks show lasts a minimum of 20 - 25 minutes and here is the layout for the events.
I am watching the fireworks from Malaysia in front of my house just now. I can clearly see the fireworks although there is some distance between my house and Putrajaya. Very beautiful and quite interesting. I love it so much.

PS: This purple colour firework is presented to a girl who loves fireworks a lot. I no longer can accompany her to watch fireworks this year although I hope I can have those chances. Wish you saw this too...
This is for you~

Wall-E with Advertlets

I went to GSC at 1 Utama watch Wall-E yesterday night cause I got two free tickets from Advertlets. The movie starts on 9pm so actually I reached there quite early. When the movie almost starts, the entrance already crowded with people waiting to enter the cinema. I shoot the crowded people before I enter with them.
I went to the movie with my friend, Angeline since I have two tickets on hand... hehe~ Here is her photo I took in front of the GSC cinema.
Nevertheless, sure I should show some of my photo too. hehe~ Oh, don't say me is narcissist but I just love to shoot everyone's photo including me.
Before I forgot, I have to mention something here. Finally I met Uncle Josh at the event yesterday. I asked Angeline take a photo of me and him. Haha, he is really a handsome and attractive guy.
I also met some of the bloggers like Karena, Pei Man(if I not mistaken) and Josh Lim too. I am damn happy to see them around. Just I am too shy to say hello with them. Since this is first time I join them so hopefully I will be behave better next time.

For the movie, I highly recommend all you guys and girls go to cinema and watch this movie. Damn nice and touching. I love it very much. Bet you all won't regret for it.

Little update on my blog~

Crapping:
Preparing myself to the Advertlets, Wall-E movie screening at 1 Utama later on. Looking forward to see other bloggers which I hope to see them long time ago. Haha~ Ok, sure I will write a post on that after I back from the event. See you guys.

Ohya, just now I went back my University to return my "jubah" and take my convocation photo with the certificate too. Happy!

Wish you all have a great day! Don't get yourself into Monday blues~

Pick n' Brew

I found a really nice coffee shop called Pick n' Brew last week. The place is at the corner so I think not much people will found it. The staff I snapped is a shy guy, he totally doesn't know how to behave in front my camera but he is a cute one too.
Inside the shop, the seats are divided into two section (smoking area and non-smoking area). There are not much people inside when I enter the shop but the environment is damn nice.
We ordered two type of coffee which are Oasis (Kenya coffee bean mix with Indonesia coffee bean) and Symphony (I forgot what types of coffee bean it used). The special of this coffee shop than others is you can mix around with the coffee bean and create your own flavour such as I mix Kenya coffee bean and Indonesia coffee bean.
Besides, those coffees will be served in the Mocha Pot which is very unlikely you can see it around. Do you see my reflection on the surface of the pot? hehe~
We also ordered a Pumpkin Pancake and Apple Creepe to taste their flavour.
I like the Apple Creepe than the Pumpkin Pancake. Haha~ Next time want to try others. Overall, the place is nice and the service is great. Nevertheless, the foods are fabulous too. Actually they also serve lunch and dinner at the shop. Hope can try it out next time I back there.
Ohya, there are special place for a group of people too. It is nice for gathering with your friends. And for Pick n' Brew, it is really a nice place to hang out when you free.
