with Targus's HP Koskin Carrying Case, HP Optical Glow Mouse and HP Notebook Green Backpack.

It is a wonderful laptop consists with reasonable price and good spec. Moreover its design is also very stylish because there is some design on the cover of the laptop and inside the laptop near the place we put our hand when typing.
The design of the laptop basically is glow black and silver. Whole laptop feels like very elegant and stylish...
The HP Pavilion DV2922TX comes with a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and dual omni-directional microphones - making video-conferencing simple on this laptop.
The touch sensitive capacitive buttons are lined up in a backlit panel just above the keyboard. It gives users control to quickly launch multimedia playback for DVDs, photo albums and MP3s as well as volume control and mute functions. Besides, the laptop comes with the Altec Lansing Speaker and it really can blast your ears off.
The laptop equip with many kind of ports so you no need worry about to plug in extra port to this laptop when you want to use it.
The HP Mobile Remote Control is stored in the ExpressCard slot and it gives you control of the notebook from up to 10 feet away too.

Overall, it is a great laptop and I'm very satisfied with this laptop. Only one bad thing for this laptop is not enough USB ports. It only has two USB ports so you must buy an extra USB port to plug-in for extra USB usage.

Other than that, it is just fine. I am already tried to play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in this laptop and it is just great without any lagging although I set very high graphics details. Besides, I also try to connect with my SE handphone via Bluetooth and function as remote controller and mouse with my handphone.

You know how much of this HP laptop costs me? hehe~ It only costs RM2599. Wa! I never think that HP laptop can sell in such price. Anyone interested can go to any HP authorised Reseller to check out this new laptop. I already got one, how about you?

King Clus,

You bought it with cheaper price. Where you bought it?

I bought it at Lowyat with HP authorized retailer so maybe expensive a bit. If I don't want the 2GB Kingston RAM and the backpack. I only can get it with RM2399.

So yours is better than mine. You also have same package with me?

Hi Chee Seng,

I bought it inside Lowyat Plaza and this is the address for the shop:

Mobility Square Sdn Bhd
HP Authorised Reseller
Lot 3-2, 3-3&3-3A, 3rd Fr, Low Yat Plaza

I have no bad comments for this laptop but only the numbers of USB ports. haha~ I bring my laptop travel here and that by flight so the weight of this laptop not so heavy and the other functions are working fine and perfect.

Hope you get your own one to enjoy it. All the best...

I was also looking for the exact same model. Went to HP Authorized reseller at One Utama just now. They said this is the old model and already discontinued. Really feel like getting it. Should've gotten it last month man

Kian Lun, it is being discontinued? I not so sure about it. Last time when I wondering which laptop I should buy and I do some survey. So I am thinking for HP but almost all HP laptops are very expensive and the cheaper one is around RM3k for the touch screen one. Thus, I go to check at the shop, they said they got a new laptop which is cheaper but the built quality is better than the Compaq. So finally I get into this one. Hehe~

Yeah that's what they told me in their store this evening. Was planning to get a pavilion too but wasn't quite sure which model to get. Found out about this model and while i wanna get it then i was told that this model has been discontinued. But i doubt that it has been sold out in every store so i've been searching for it and found out some retail shop still have it. But the price is around 2.6 - 2.7kRM. Not that worth it if i buy now i guess? Any advice of which model i should look into?

Kian Lun, if you really prefer HP or Compaq, I think you can try to search for this model series of Compaq (Compaq Presario CQ45-100 Notebook PC). The model number will be in CQ45-1**. Or you can check from this link too. http://h50198.www5.hp.com/Store/storeModel.asp?familyid=1769

Looking forward to your good news. C ya.

Andreya, thanks for visiting my blog and your praise. Hope to see you revisiting my blog in the mean while. I am agree with you about the hardware which is can't be change easily will affect your decision in making your mind to which laptop should you go for. Monitor, keyboard, motherboard and speaker are the items which can't be change easily so you have really know what you want from your laptop and make the decision.
