Broga Hill bush fire

Do you know where is Broga Hill? I sure you will know since all your friends sure want to go there more than one time. But do you know what happen to the hill recently? Ya, bush fire. It burned the entire top hill into ruin as you can see from the photo above. All the couch grass is gone now. I heard that someone is playing fireworks over there and burned it accidentally. Screw those people. Use your mind before act. Sigh~

Kuala Lumpur

Just back from Mid Valley just now. Finally had the opportunity to accompany my girl friend watch WooHoo. Nice, funny and touching movie from Malaysia. Hehe~ Meanwhile, I also booked My dream lens, Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens from the shop because they also out of stock. I don't know this is how many times I look for this lens around the town. Sigh~ Need one week to get it from Canon Malaysia so hopefully I will be still here next week to take it.

Besides, after the damn unhappy phone conversation with the car sales person, he message me today. He informed me my plat number already brought but he ask me to wait for another month to get my car. Dammit. This is because Alza fully occupied Perodua Production line. No room for my little car. I WANT my car!

Back to the photo, Kuala Lumpur. I not sure when is the last time I took the photo of KLCC and KL tower together. I think the last one is taken at Look Out Point. That time I still using my dear Casio Digital Camera which pass away few years ago. Hehe~ Such a long time ago...

Maybank Phishing Email! WTF!

I received plenty of dammit phishing emails recently. All of it from Maybank. Example is like below:

Dear Valued Customer,

Maybank security systems detected a serious (PR2) security problem in your account. Your account has been restricted due to several invalid login attempts from an unauthorized third-party. Your immediate attention is required to reactivate your account. Please be informed that your account will be temporarily closed if not activated now.

All of the emails are having the same contents, only the back link are different. These are the example of the links:

Damn annoying I kept receiving emails from same email address although I already reported to Maybank for this issue. Hope their counter phishing measure can be improve for prevent other person get into this trouble especially those not familiar with the internet or lack of knowledge about this matter. Damn cyber phishing.

Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM appears defective.

First error come out for my Samsung 2333SW. It shows "Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM appears defective." when I try to open the Photoshop program. Moreover, the screen change those white colour into brown yellowish colour. Damn freaking me out since suddenly causing this problem to you. I never facing this kind of problem before so I also don't know how to fix it.

When thinking want to send back to the shop, I try to fix it myself by doing some research on the google. And what I found that this problem is very frequently happen on all the SAMSUNG LCD monitor which is the colour management is control by one extension file with .ICM. And that is the file always having defective and causing your screen showing other colours than normal.

Here is the temporarily solution for that problem. What should we do is just not using the original samsung ICM file but replace it with other type of file. And I go for Adobe RGB. How to do it is like following instruction. since I using Windows Vista, so this is only for Vista OS.

First, right click on the desktop and click on "Personalize". Then click on "Display Settings" and choose the monitor having the problem. Click on "Advanced Settings" and choose "Color Management". Click "Color Management" again.

In the open window, select your monitor and tick the "use my settings for this device". After that click on "Add" to add a new color calibration file to replace the defect one. Find the Adobe RGB then select it "OK". Finally, set the Adobe RGB as the default for the monitor. Then restart your computer.

After you restart your computer, all will be showing great and with correct colour. But this also raise a question to me sRGB or Adobe RGB is better? I also can't figure which one I should choose but I decided to go for Adobe RGB.

I think that's the solution for the problem. Everyone have a nice day.

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel + LCCT Taxi

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel

Just back from Singapore yesterday night. In last week, I'm tired and tension with the training carry on. Luckily it is finish now. Hopefully don't send me to Miri again for another training. This time training, I stayed at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel located at the Marina Parade. Actually just beside the Paramount Hotel I used to stay at for my training. For this hotel, I think most of the facilities is better than Paramount Hotel especially their dinner buffet. Compare with the dinner buffet with their breakfast, their breakfast really lack of option and really not good at all. I think this is the only drawback for this hotel. Haha~ Nice...

LCCT Taxi

I'm disappointed with the LCCT Taxi, even more disappointed with the taxi driver fetched me back yesterday night. From what I remember for my last time using the LCCT Official Taxi services, it is not so bad like yesterday. Not organize at all and really can't compare with the KLIA taxi services. Even worst is the Taxi driver picking up me. When I tell him the destination I wish to go, he didn't say anything but after he start the journey then he said he can't remember how to go then he ask me to guide him to my house. You know what? That is from LCCT to my house. Sigh~ No choice since I already on the cab... Only one word I can say, disappointed.

Marriage

Marriage...

What is marriage in the end? What is it mean for us? Is it a marriage just a procedure we must carry out when we reached 30s? Or it's just process to announce your love to your love one? What is marriage actually? If marriage really so divine in love, why so many people still look down on it? First, is you both want to get marry but in the end you choose to regret about it? Is it the other part really isn't a good partner for you? But why you make such decision in the first place? I know there are some exception and agreed there are sure many factors can affect the decision but I just don't get it. I'm truly disappointed with this one. Damn, I'm stuck between all these bullshit.

Malaysia's economic going downturn?

Who said Malaysia's economic is going downturn recently? Before this, I really believe that is true but after I witness one amazing scene, I totally change my mind. As you can see at below, do you see all those peoples?

Ya, due to there is a sales for some branded goods so all those peoples are rushing to there for shopping. There are so many peoples "rebut sini, rebut sana" to choose their lovely items. Although Malaysia's economic not very good now but we still don't forget to continue our shopping. And the petrol's price will be going down soon, I think there will be more people come out for the year end sales for this december. Salute~

Haze

Do you all notice the haze is return to Malaysia? Although it is not so serious but sometimes the smell still very bad. Just like those smell from the burning rubbish. And it cause the weather become very hot.

Can we hold on any longer? Why our government can just ignore the problem and without doing anything to resolve the situation? Moreover, it happens on every year almost the same period on each year. So it should be have enough time to let our politicians to think the solution, right? Maybe they just never think it before... sigh~

I think Malaysia will become un-breathable after 10 years from now. And we should wearing gas mask just to go out to shopping. haha~ must be a funny scene.

Bad decision again

When I open up newspaper this morning, I found that two very contrast newspaper headlines. One is the country's inflation hit a 27-year high of 7.7% in June, more than double May's figure of 3.8%. In the other hand, our dear Terengganu Government had spent RM3.43 million to replace its Perdana V6 Executive cars for use as their official cars.

Ya, I know that the inflation mainly cause by the side effect of petrol hike in the world market. So as a small citizen in Malaysia, we only can control our own financial usage to save more money to hold on the inflation situation. But those so called Menteri Besar never be a model to those normal citizen.

Why am I said that? Ya, sure u read today newspaper and found that those Menteri Besar Terengganu spent RM3.43 million just to buy 14 new Mercedes E200 Kompressor to replace 4-year old Perdana V6 Executive with nonsense reasons, especially our country in this kind of condition now.

You know what reasons they gave? Ya, they claimed that they spent more than RM100,000 to repair and maintain those Perdana in this 4 years. What?! RM100,000 to maintainance fees? Why is the amount so big? Just 4 years can spent RM100,000? Moreover why they criticize Proton since we all know Proton is low quality?

Ya, I really disappointed with those politic leader in our country~ Hope Malaysia will be a better country soon or later.

Are you kidding me?

I think most of the Malaysian sure knows which is the University of Malaya (UM). So called the oldest university in Malaysia and the most reputably too. Ya, may be studying at UM is an honour to somebody but some of the management decision in UM really makes me laugh.

I bet all the UM students will recognize this building, right? Ya, that is the Auditorium of Kompleks Perdana Siswa (KPS). As we know, there are some ATM machines there. If my memory served me right, there is a robbery occurred in front of this building last time when those security guards are transferring money to the machine. So the security must be improved a lot after the robbery, right?

But do you know what I saw on the top of all those ATM Machine?

Ya, a CCTV on the top of all those ATM machine. but wait a minute, what the heck with that CCTV? Why the CCTV hanging like that? Isn't it should be pointing at the line waiting to the ATM machine or the main entrance? Why that CCTV is up side down and just put on the security alarm box?

Ya, may be Bush will have that face expression when looking at that CCTV. Haha~ Hooray UM!

Petrol Jokes

Recently, all of my friends are discussing the increase of the petrol's price
so i wonder is it there are some funny picture on the web.

What is going on with my country?

This is the article i saw it from my mail box. Before this, i never think that the increment for the price of the petrol is related with the car's price too.
You can see the price of the petrol is increase 40.625% since today which is from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70. That is a huge increment from previous prices and it must give some compliment to our government.
But as we can see, our car's tax is never being reduce since i also don't know how many years already. From the article, we can see a example of Toyota Corolla at the real price is US$19,000(RM60,500) but it costs us RM117,000 if we buy it in Malaysia. There is almost RM50,000 more than the real price in worldwide market. This have to thanks to our kindly government which wan to protect our fragile Proton and Perodua.
I am damn speechless when reading these kind of news, it's make me sick.
But what can we do as we are just a small citizen in this country, we only can pray more and more... God bless Malaysia.
