Port Dickson - Part 3

In this trip to Port Dickson, my friends and I stayed at the hotel called Le Paris Hotel. It is quite near to the PD town actually. And here are some of the photos taken around the hotel.

This is the hotel room looks like from outside. One queen size bed and one single bed in the room. The room is fully equip with TV, mini bar and a balcony for the room.

There is a swimming pool at the ground floor of the hotel. I took the swimming pool photo from our room's balcony. I like the design of its swimming pool.

But the beach of the hotel not good enough since the sand is more like small rocks instead of fine sand. Another issue is there were a lot of hermit crabs all around the beach. So we can't really get swimming at the beach though.

Let you all try to guess what is that in the photo shown as below. Can you guess it out? Haha... Actually it is a wood eroded by the sea water. And it is lying on the shore line and I shot it.

Not sure what is this plant call of but I found it in the pond near the beach we heading to on that day. Is it lotus leaf?

I love this photo at below so much. These are the sand balls created by the crabs. Hehe~

Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM appears defective.

First error come out for my Samsung 2333SW. It shows "Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM appears defective." when I try to open the Photoshop program. Moreover, the screen change those white colour into brown yellowish colour. Damn freaking me out since suddenly causing this problem to you. I never facing this kind of problem before so I also don't know how to fix it.

When thinking want to send back to the shop, I try to fix it myself by doing some research on the google. And what I found that this problem is very frequently happen on all the SAMSUNG LCD monitor which is the colour management is control by one extension file with .ICM. And that is the file always having defective and causing your screen showing other colours than normal.

Here is the temporarily solution for that problem. What should we do is just not using the original samsung ICM file but replace it with other type of file. And I go for Adobe RGB. How to do it is like following instruction. since I using Windows Vista, so this is only for Vista OS.

First, right click on the desktop and click on "Personalize". Then click on "Display Settings" and choose the monitor having the problem. Click on "Advanced Settings" and choose "Color Management". Click "Color Management" again.

In the open window, select your monitor and tick the "use my settings for this device". After that click on "Add" to add a new color calibration file to replace the defect one. Find the Adobe RGB then select it "OK". Finally, set the Adobe RGB as the default for the monitor. Then restart your computer.

After you restart your computer, all will be showing great and with correct colour. But this also raise a question to me sRGB or Adobe RGB is better? I also can't figure which one I should choose but I decided to go for Adobe RGB.

I think that's the solution for the problem. Everyone have a nice day.

Short post...

Nasi Goreng Pattaya @ Restoran Piccadilly not bad. Only the smell from the channel beside the restaurant not smelling good. It is affecting my appetite also. Piccadilly more like a sports restaurant with selling all kind of local foods and western foods. Nice place for hang out after work. It is located at the Millennium Square, Dataran Millennium PJ at Section 14.

The Bear Bear in my house changed clothes again. This time is girl apparel. Haha~ Took this shot on my bed while testing my speedlite settings.

Taken this girl outside Piccadilly. Who is she? No doubt of it. She is dearest Angeline. Wahaha.

Old Town - Part 2

Continue with the post about the Old Town outlet at Bangsar South. This outlet quite different with the other outlets in terms of facilities and design. In the photo above, this outlet using a lot of paper umbrella to decorate their ceiling which is I never see any outlets will put so many money in designing the shop.

The decoration in the main room on the second floor is using one huge "Tanglung" shape lamp at the middle of the room. The environment is nice and warm. I like the design. Haha~ For this outlet, they also offer to their customers with 2Mbps Wifi speed to surfing the internet. Isn't it very great? Haha~

I took this photo after the rain. There were plenty of water drops on the hand rail at the smoking area. Besides, I took a photo of the light trail of the car at the junction in front of the Old Town. I think that is the post. See you again~

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel + LCCT Taxi

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel

Just back from Singapore yesterday night. In last week, I'm tired and tension with the training carry on. Luckily it is finish now. Hopefully don't send me to Miri again for another training. This time training, I stayed at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel located at the Marina Parade. Actually just beside the Paramount Hotel I used to stay at for my training. For this hotel, I think most of the facilities is better than Paramount Hotel especially their dinner buffet. Compare with the dinner buffet with their breakfast, their breakfast really lack of option and really not good at all. I think this is the only drawback for this hotel. Haha~ Nice...

LCCT Taxi

I'm disappointed with the LCCT Taxi, even more disappointed with the taxi driver fetched me back yesterday night. From what I remember for my last time using the LCCT Official Taxi services, it is not so bad like yesterday. Not organize at all and really can't compare with the KLIA taxi services. Even worst is the Taxi driver picking up me. When I tell him the destination I wish to go, he didn't say anything but after he start the journey then he said he can't remember how to go then he ask me to guide him to my house. You know what? That is from LCCT to my house. Sigh~ No choice since I already on the cab... Only one word I can say, disappointed.

Old Town - Part 1

Few months back, Angeline and I went to Old Town at Bangsar South . I think this is the best Old Town I been so far. Nice environment with unique design than other outlets.

Even their kitchen also different with other places. It's having kampung style's kitchen design. I took this shot at second floor. Don't know how is the first floor looks like because I always went to the second floor only.

Cats - Part II

Do you still remember these cats? I wrote a post for them few months back. They are HuHu and LuLu. Since I'm free on that day so I take some photos for them.

They are almost double in size now. And they are VERY VERY naughty now.

He always like to make his eyes one big and one small when he stare at someone.

Lowepro Inverse 200 AW

One month back, I wrote a post for something I just bought. Ya, it is a new camera bag to replace my old bag. I'm keep thinking what kind of the I should buy before that. Backpack, sling bag, shoulder bag or belt pack? I also don't know which one should I go for it. But since I don't have much lens around me yet so I'm thinking to get a small bag which I can access my stuff easily. In the end, I make my choice to go for belt pack.

I choose for Lowepro rather than other brands and the model is Inverse 200 AW. The bag is suitable for outdoor use and full of a lot of features for protection, easy access and comfort.

The quick access on the top let me easy to open it for access our gadgets. And the detachable and padded shoulder strap adds a comfortable, additional carrying option too.

The interior size is 30.5 X 15.3 X 21.2 cm and the whole bag weight is 0.96kg. The bag have memory card pockets, few adjustable dividers, mesh side pockets and exterior pockets for water bottle also. The capacity of the bag allow us to put 1 pro DSLR with medium zoom lens attached plus 2 additional lenses; or a 70-200mm attached lens in horizontal position plus 1 additional lens; charger and cords; filters and memory cards.

The bag also quip with all weather cover which is cover the bag from rain and dust. This is good when we using it outdoor. And there is slip lock under the bag which allow us to carry the tripod too when we need it.
